as far as a camera i suggest a nikon coolpix, there is several cameras in the series of them. nikon is THE leading camera manufacture followed second by canon. and for reviews dpreview.com is great. for editing unless you want to buy adobe photoshop elements or photoshop the best you can get is an online photo editor such as pisca and there is many others you can find through google and yahoo search engines..
