Because islam doesn't tolerate its followers to possess freedom or pleasure (except the men of course). Music IS that important. Islam is of the devil.
Because Islam, as well as most other religions are patently against anything that can give a person joy. They (the holy rollers) want you to enjoy nothing but religion (whatever religion that may be), never dance, have sex, watch a movie, smoke a cig, take a drink or have a toke. While I do not endorse the use of drugs, I think that everyone needs to experience as many things as possible in order to make good choices based on experience. Holy rollers believe that you don't need any experiences other then those you get from whatever religion you happen to subscribe too.
