I shop all year for Christmas and birthdays The commercialization When ever I wake up or the phone rings We never hid presents we bought them wrapped them and they were in a special closet until the tree went up. Now I am happily down to about 8. my grandmothers (daddy's mom) my son-in-law I have had to do that, I make coupons and put them in a folder and they can be redeemed all year. For my daughter I did ones like, I'm tired and don't want to cook tonight so I would go over and cook the dinner, or doing the sewing, buttons and hems and zippers. She has two boys who are very hard on clothes. For the son-in-law it was things like making him a lemon cake, or baking him his favorite cookies, I even sharpened his tools for him that year. Seems he never has the time and was always fussing nothing was sharp. For my sister it was helping her do her heavy spring and fall cleaning. She was so happy she didn't have to do it alone, and sitting with my nephew who has CP so she could have a day off. Each one was customized for that person. The little bit of money I had went for gifts for the kids. What was fun is they used all of them and asked for more for the next Christmas.
